What is Mouth of the Tweed?

Mouth of the Tweed is a not-for-profit project owned and managed by local people, businesses and community groups.

Our aim is to improve and promote Berwick-upon-Tweed through its unique food heritage.

In association with Cittaslow Berwick-upon-Tweed and the Berwick Slow Food Group we are developing a network of sites, projects and businesses related to the food and drink produced in the area around Berwick, now and in the past.

A range of activities, events and experiences will involve visitors and local people of all ages in enjoying and celebrating our food and help them to discover how it was made and where it came from.

If you have a business that is connected with food producing, retailing, catering or hospitality, or are an interested local resident you can help us to put Berwick firmly on the map of distinctive food destinations.
